During the development process, Wilson Benesch cardinal has carried out extensive research and development on the driver topology. Results a troika system was developed; a new topology, which Wilson Benesch had not used before, placed the new semisphere tweeter in the center of the upper and lower tactic II mid-range drives. All parts are in perfect harmony, in such proportions and ties that nothing can be added, reduced or changed.
All the units are designed and made by ourselves. From the beginning of the design, the goal is to pursue the highest sound restoration. The high pitch, middle bass and low pitch units used in the speaker are all designed by Wilson Benesch company. The purpose is to design from the beginning of the speaker unit and cooperate with the minimalist sound splitting design.
The treble and bass are only divided by the first order, and the midrange unit does not use the divider. The minimalist divider design can directly eliminate the phase drift caused by the divider, with more accurate positioning and more transparent timbre. It can also give full play to the efficiency of the power amplifier and break through the magic spell of large speakers requiring high power drive.
The speaker looks like three subwoofer units on the surface, but there are actually five. The four bass are composed of isobaric tactic matrix, and the fifth bass is also ABR back radiation monomer. This design gives cardinal more excellent dynamic performance and transient response.
The newly developed integrated carbon fiber alloy box structure of Jinchi is applied to remove any unnecessary vibration and sound pollution, and also to transfer energy in the most efficient way, so as to reduce energy residence and obtain the most clean and transparent sound performance. It further implements its design concept of extreme application of material science theory. In addition, the optimized design of natural acoustic arc inspired by natural curve can produce excellent harmonic characteristics, make the timbre more balanced, and avoid the interference of acoustic diffraction and the occurrence of standing wave in the speaker. The latest large volume shell type complex geometry internal sound box structure can offset the standing wave, ensuring the unparalleled noise ratio. The reinforced giant base makes each 120 kg speaker as stable as a rock.
The troika system should be regarded as a highly innovative and significant progress in loudspeaker design. The troika not only places three highly integrated Wilson Benesch drive units tightly, but also directly associates with the cabinet and drive unit architecture to create mechanical filtering. The result is a highly optimized divider with all electrical components reduced or removed to retain the perfect signal from the amplifier.
